The 2 of Wands in Reverse in this reading feels like it is talking about personal goals and inner alignment. The Wheel is representing a turning point, good luck, karma, life cycles and destiny. The Devil comes into play because in order to do this we need to take a look at our shadow self, embracing our dark side and figuring out what is going on in our lives that is causing us to feel restriction. This may be a time that you are realizing you are ready to be your authentic self and live in alignment with who you are without masks and hiding. When things shift back into alignment quickly that has potential to feel a little overwhelming but just know that luck is on your side with this.
What are the goals that you are looking at? Do they align with your authentic self or are they goals that you have set to please other people? This feels like when I was told to quit smoking over and over…because it’s bad for you…but this couldn’t happen until I was ready. I feel like this reading has to do with something like this because the Devil is also about addiction. Many people often think that addiction has to do with drugs and alcohol, but this goes further than the surface. This could also be food addiction (Too much or too little), social media and technology addiction, people pleasing…think beyond what you normally think addiction looks like. This reading wants you to go to the cause of the addiction, the dark place that was wounded that the addiction feeds. The goal that may be coming up for you is facing a wound or hurt that you may have been avoiding but (The Wheel), it’s time. Know again that luck is on your side and you will be okay no matter what. We can’t avoid the challenges that life brings to us, this is just part of the experience. And whatever happens through this process is the right choice for you at this time.
Mäßigung in allen Dingen – Moderation in all things.
This is a phrase that my oma’s best friend used to say and oma likes to bring it to my attention every now and then. It’s a phrase that kept popping into my mind as I was typing out the reading. Oma is my 89 year old German and she is a pretty amazing woman. We often think of generational trauma lately which is very important. It will lead you to the shadows and that is where healing occurs. I was reminded recently, to also remember our generational strengths and resilience. We are here because of them for better or worse. Trauma does get passed down but so does healing, strength, knowledge and so much more. We can be the resilient ancestors for our kin down the line and we can make those choices to do that at any time in our life.
Canary Spirit – Sing your own song.
Canary spirit arrives to help you find your authentic voice and express what is in your heart. Free yourself to experience your inner light and let it shine, as Canary Spirit sings to remind you of your inherent joy and to support you as you sing your own song. Now is the time to let the world know who you really are. Canary Spirit’s message is that you are free to be yourself and express your most cherished desires. The world wants to hear your song! If your inquiry is about a relationship, you’re being called to fully express yourself, for only then will you find harmony and joy. You can make music with others so beautifully when your note rings true.
Kuan Yin (pronounced koo-wan’yin), or “she who hears the weeping world,” is the Chinese Buddhist bodhisattva of Compassion. She lives on her island of paradise of P’u T’o Shan where she is said to grant every prayer she hears. She is so powerful that even the mention of her name will ease suffering and hardship. Choosing to remain in this world after having attained enlightenment, Kuan Yin has vowed to retain human form until all beings attain enlightenment. In Japan she is known as Kwannon.
Kuan Yin appears mercifully in your life to tell you it is time to nurture wholeness with compassion – compassion for others, compassion for your loved ones, and compassion for yourself. Do you find yourself feeling irritated or apathetic to the suffering of others? What keeps you from your compassion? Do you allow yourself space and ease when you are less than your idea of perfect? Do you find yourself wanting to hurt others because you have been hurt? Do you fear opening your heart to the plight of others because it will hurt you? Compassion is the ability to listen deeply and allow others and yourself the space to go through what needs to be gone through and to feel what needs to be felt. Kuan Yin says that the way to alleviate your suffering is to develop compassion for yourself. From that compassionate place within, you can manifest compassion without.
Ivy – Finances
Fairies have no need to worry about finances. They just rust they will be provided for, and so they are. Trust has a lot to do with the finances of humans also. Asking and then trusting that things will work out for you open a pathway for your good to come to you. This is a time when financial issues are at a head in your life. There are opportunities opening up for you. Keep your eyes open and be willing to check out any offers that come your way. The Universe knows what you need and will provide if you stay grounded in faith. Look carefully at how you use the money that is given to you. Do you use it wisely? Are you saving some each month? Paying bills on time? If you find yourself resenting bill paying, then change your attitude and face it with joy. Thank Spirit that you are able to pay your bills. End each payment out with a blessing attached, that, “…every person who come in contact with this money be blessed.” Finances will surely take a turn for the better. Have trust and believe!
Mother, Father God…I ask for your divine intervention on my behalf.
I ask for the perfect solution.
I ask for the perfect timing for the manifestation of the solution.
I am willing to accept your guidance and your wisdom…
and I expect the miracles,
which are a demonstration of your love.
So be it.
