First of all, all 3 of these cards are from the major arcana. Whatever is going on this week is deeply personal. The Devil comes up when we are dealing with obligations and addictions. The Devil brings up things that we feel that we HAVE to do. This could even be coming in as self-doubt. The Magician comes in again this week to remind ourselves that we have the power to push past this obstacle. The Devil is here to teach us. What else is blocking us on this path of manifestation? The Empress is the card of fertility and abundance. She is the mother energy of the deck. This reading can bring in a few different energies. The mother energy could be the thing that needs to be moved past. The nurturing of the Empress with the Devil and Magician is really bringing to mind having obligations to something related to the feminine energy in your life that may not be healthy. Sometimes when the Empress comes up in a reading the energy can be the smothering kind of nurturing energy. The other energy of this empress is you personally as the empress. This can be the breakthrough moment. This could be the time where the unhealthy aspects, the blockages, all of the things not serving your higher self are brought to the surface, dealt with and cleared the way for creativity.
