Sound healing works with the chakras and frequencies to clear out blocked energy and attune our body back to its natural vibration. Certain notes work with certain chakras to bring them back into alignment quickly. The chakra can be worked with through other modalities such as diet, crystals, color and light therapy, physical activity and many other ways. Sound healing works rapidly to bring the chakras back to their natural vibration by using instruments that are in tune with those frequencies. Everything on this planet has a certain frequency: The plants, the people, the planet itself. There are sounds that are powerful enough to bring our internal frequencies back to regulation. The crystal bowls, gongs, rattles, and many more instruments create vibrations powerful enough to transmit their frequencies through the human body and clear out energetic blockages. Each sound healing experience will be different from session to session and from individual to individual. The many benefits of sound healing include: Calms your body and mind. Reduces stress and anxiety. Increases focus and clarity. Decreases tension and fatigue. Boosts your mood and reduces feelings of anger. Improves sleep. Elevates feelings of spiritual well-being.
Reading tarot is really about inner reflection, clarity, and guidance on things that we already know to be true. Tarot works by connecting to our inner higher selves and delivering helpful messages through symbolism, like a dream. Many people have a fear that the tarot cards are going to give them bad news and create misfortune in their life. This is not true. Reading tarot is more than about laying some cards down and telling you what they mean. It is about having real opportunities to look at what areas of your life are standing out or needing focus right now and finding guidance. It is just as much about the connection with the reader as it is the cards themselves. Things come up that you are already dealing with, my job as the reader is to show you what the cards are saying, what actions can be taken and, and what the possible outcomes can look like. This practice is really a discussion between the reader and the seeker in a safe space to be honest, especially with ourselves, about things that are important to us in our lives.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality that I regularly and unapologetically refer to as "The Force". Reiki promotes relaxation, promotes healing, reduces stress and reduces anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to guide energy through the body to clear out stagnence and low vibrations that are held in the body which can lead to things like illness, fatigue and brain fog. During reiki you may experience: heat or coolness, pins-and-needle tingling, vibrational buzzing, electrical sparks, numbness, throbbing, itchiness, and sleepiness. It helps the body to be in the best state it can be to help it heal itself.
Yoga is so much more than just the poses. The word yoga means "yoke" as in union. In yoga we unify the breath with the body which allows the body to unify with the spirit. There are many different styles of yoga and finding a style that fits your needs is a truly wonderful feeling. Maybe you need to get out of your head and into your body? Power yoga may be for you. Maybe you have a hard time relaxing on your own or have some areas that need a little TLC? Yin or restorative yoga may be what would help for you. Perhaps you are looking for something a little more esoteric and spiritual? It may be a good time to try Kundalini. In all of these different branches how the pose looks is of little importance, it is all about how the poses feel. As a yoga instructor, I have had the priveledge in leading many different styles of classes to people ranging in ages 3-90. Teaching a group and teaching privately both have such wonderful benefits and bring different yet equal healing opportunities.
